The iconic cartoonist of the 1960s underground comix movement, Robert Crumb also produced hundreds of cover illustrations for music albums; his first was for fellow Haight-Ashbury denizen Janis Joplin, who asked him to draw the cover for her album Cheap Thrills. Crumb was also able to indulge his longtime fascination with early recorded blues and jazz music, and his drawings for such classics as "Truckin' My Blues Away" and "Please Warm My Wiener" proved influential in the rediscovery of such music in the 1960s and 70s. With 450 color illustrations, this collection of Crumb's album art features a glossy black cover and a printed paper slipcase with a cutout that's reminiscent of a 10-inch, 78 rpm record.
