Bijou Funnies #2 is more ambitious and daring than #1, though only marginally so. There is more political content ("New Left Comics," "Tuna Fart Funnies") and drug references ("A.W. Reet," "Sammy Smoot Visits the Intergalactic World Brain"). The second issue is quite good, but Bijou Funnies was still building towards its peak.--comixjoint.com
