What We Believe
We want to be the change we want to see in the world. We are committed to opening people's minds and being a force for change. To achieve our goals, we picked books and comics that question the status quo, and slaughter society's sacred cows. We believe all people have the right to make up their own mind about their religion, politics and sexual orientation, without pressure from the establishment.
Our views are definitely progressive. We are against the war on drugs. We believe that spending our money on the military industrial complex to further corporate interests abroad instead of healthcare, infrastructure, and the benefit of our citizens is an outrage. We believe that we are killing our planet by our own capitalist greed. We want to advocate for permaculture, sustainable energy and the restoration of natural ecosystems. We believe everyone should have the right to love whomever they want, as long as they are of legal age. We believe in the right to privacy, because it shouldn't be anybody's business what you do in your own home, as long as it doesn't hurt anybody else. We want to shed the light on freedom, and show the possibility that our society can evolve into a peaceful, enlightened humankind.
We may not agree with many of the points of view of the books we peddle, but we think it is essential to a healthy democracy that fringe and alternative view points can be expressed without fear of reprisal. Long live the freedom of the press.
